What White skulls mean
Wikily / Fextralife: a buried corpse’s White skulls cap how much quality its grave can score. Decorations (headstone / fence wreaths) must reach those White rows; Red skulls never add positive graveyard points and cancel wreaths before White can count.
games.gg / Prima: you don’t always need zero Red — tip the balance toward White, decorate, and move on. Our planner exposes Net (W−R) as a quick burial heuristic.
How to raise / protect White
- Clear Red soft parts first — Blood and Fat each carry 1 Red (Wikily Body parts). Free / early cleanup that improves net burial quality without burning White.
- Leave Flesh when it shows White — Wikily lists Flesh as 1 White. Removing it cuts burial score (games.gg / our planner: −1 White).
- Read organ variants — gold Skin/Bones/Skull/Heart/Brain/Guts can carry 2–3 White (and sometimes Red). Keep White-heavy parts; extract Red-heavy ones (Prima).
- Dark Organs first if present (games.gg) — they suppress White / inflate Red. Planner delta is an estimate only.
- Embalming for burial — Wikily’s detailed GK2 table: Solution for Corpses (+White) and Injection for Corpses (−Red / +White), grades I–III. Unverified naming Early articles still say Lye / Glue / Silver / Gold — our calculator still exposes those planner toggles; confirm which reagents your build shows.
- Decorate to the White cap — Fextralife: extra decoration cannot invent White the corpse lacks.
Tradeoffs with Red
Hard extracts and failed ops can erase White. A Surgeon’s Error costs −1 White / −1 Red and can block zombie use later. Over-cleaning Red for burial also erases perk slots if you later flip the body to resurrection. Pick a goal on the calculator: Burial — maximize White vs Zombie — Red perks matter.
Burial checklist
- Note starting White / Red and each organ’s icons.
- Dark Organs → Blood → Fat.
- Keep White-heavy vitals; remove Red-heavy ones only when Anatomy is ready.
- Skip Flesh / craft-loot cuts on keepers unless the material is worth the White hit.
- Embalm with burial-leaning mixes once organ work is done (verify UI names).
- Bury, decorate until White rows are covered, trade the Burial Certificate to Januarius.

FAQ
Are more White skulls always better?
For burial / graveyard quality, usually yes — up to the decoration cap. For zombie prep, shape Red instead of maximizing White.
Do I need zero Red for burial?
Not necessarily. Guides say tip toward White and cover White rows with decorations. Zero Red is nice; more White than Red is the usual working target.
What’s the safest White-positive embalm?
On Wikily: Solution for Corpses (+White only). Early Glue / Silver / Gold names are unverified against that table — check your embalming UI.
How do I compare White vs Red quickly?
Use Net (W−R) on the calculator for a burial-oriented snapshot, then confirm on the autopsy UI.
